Ten years in a refill bourbon barrel before being re-racked on 6 July 2025 into a virgin oak barrel, where it has continued to develop.
FRESH & PEATY
Ardmore is lightly peated by nature and the Virgin Oak cask compliments it beautifully — sweet smoke, spice and a rich creamy texture that sits comfortably at cask strength. Bottled without chill filtration or added colour.
TASTING…
NOSE
Toast and sweet smoke, burnt orange marmalade, chocolate and charcoal. Toasted almonds and apricot underneath.
PALATE
Creamy and full bodied. The smoke and fruit from the nose carry through, with cinnamon and ginger spice developing as it opens up.
FINISH
Warm and lingering, the spice and toasted notes fading slowly.
